- Q: What do the UCHS Boosters do?
- A:Support the student athletes at University City High School by:
- raising funds for long term, capital improvements to facilities and training materials
- work to encourage participation in all programs and ativities.
- we also cook the occasional tube steak (a.k.a. hot dog) at a football or basketball game - run concessions for home football and basketball games
- Q: How can I support the UCHS Athletic Boosters?
- A:There are many ways to support the boosters:
- become a booster member
- volunteer to help the boosters at a fund raising event
- volunteer to help man the concession stand for football/basketball games
- volunteer to be an officer of the boosters
- just show up at a University City High School event and cheer for the student-athletes
- Q: What are the benefits of becoming a member of the UCHS Athletic Boosters?
- A:First and foremost, your membership fee goes to support all of the student-athletes at University City High School. Then, on top of that, you get:
- for an individual membership, you get free admission to all University City High School Athletic Department sponsored athletic events (note: does not include events at other high schools, and post-season tournament events)
- for a family membership, you and five members of your immediate family get free admission to all University City High School Athletic Department sponsored athletic events (note: does not include events at other high schools, and post-season tournament events)

- Q: When do the UCHS Athletic Boosters meet?
- A:The second Tuesday of every month. Watch the Announcements page for the exact date.
- Q: How are the UCHS Athletic Boosters different from the UCHS PTO?
- A:Both groups are dedicated to improving the educational experience at University City High School. The PTO focuses more on the "student" side of "University City High School student-athlete". The Athletic Boosters recognize that "student-athletes" are students first so they support the PTO and its goals while looking for ways to improve athletic opportunities at the high school.
- Q: Are the UCHS Athletic Boosters lackeys of the School District of University City?
- A:Ummm.... Well ... no. The school district's representatives are always welcome to come to the Athletic Booster's meetings (in fact, the Athletic Director is a member of the Executive Committe), but the Athletic Boosters reserve the right to respectfully turn down requests from the school district when the members feel it conflicts with the Athletic Booster's mission.
- Q: Could you possibly have used the phrase, "UCHS Athletic Boosters" any more times on this site?!
- A:You don't want to issue a challenge like that.
